We are the Louisville chapter of Greyhound Pets of America.
GPA-Louisville is a 501(c)(3) all-volunteer organization which relies entirely on donations and gifts from people like you and organization which support our efforts.
GPA’s Mission
Greyhound Pets of America (GPA) is supportive of the Greyhound racing industry. Our goal is to find responsible, loving homes for racing greyhounds who no longer qualify to compete at the racetrack.
Greyhound Pets of America currently has chapters and sub-chapters around the nation.
GPA was founded in 1987 and works extensively with the racing industry to encourage its involvement with adoption efforts.
The GPA adoption program depends on donations and volunteers to accomplish its goals. Whether you send a donation to the national GPA or to one of our member chapters, your donation will be tax-deductible.
The 800 number below is administered by Greyhound Pets of America nationwide as a service to the Greyhound adoption community. It is funded by the American Greyhound Council. When you call 800-366-1472, your message will be routed to a GPA volunteer in your region.
